Victoria's Secret & Co. seeks a Project Engineer (Industrial Engineer II) to support logistics and supply chain initiatives across retail and direct-to-consumer fulfillment. You will design facilities, apply IE methods, and manage projects to improve productivity and capacity.

Responsibilities include establishing labor standards, performing data analysis, assisting with equipment design, implementing LMS, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Industrial Engineering principles including ergonomics, time studies, data analysis
• Experience with engineering labor standards and Labor Management System (LMS)
• Data analysis using SQL/Oracle and relational databases
• Knowledge of material handling equipment design and installation
• Project management skills and ability to lead small to medium projects

• Demonstrates understanding and application of IE principles (ergonomics, labor standards, time studies, data analysis)
• Analyzes existing distribution processes to evaluate changes for improvement
• Designs conceptual layouts of new processes with productivity, capacity, cost, and schedule estimates
• Leads small to medium projects and applies project management skills
• Uses data analysis tools and SQL/Oracle for decision support
• Assists in material handling equipment design, procurement, and installation with senior oversight
• Implements and maintains engineering labor standards and LMS
• Represents the engineering team on cross-functional project teams
• Communicates effectively with business partners, team members, and vendors
• Educates junior engineers and shares knowledge

Description

The Project Engineer(Indsutrial Engineer II) is responsible for supporting strategic and tactical support initiatives that drive capability and efficiency in the Logistics and Supply Chain operations and infrastructure. Primary responsibilities are focused on both retail and direct-to-consumer fulfillment operations. These include: facility design and utilization planning, applied Industrial Engineering principles, engineered labor standards, material handling automation design and implementation, and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates thorough understanding and application of Industrial Engineering principles including ergonomics, engineered labor standards, work sampling, time studies, data analysis using statistical tools, engineering finance, etc


• Analysis of existing distribution processes using industrial engineering tools in order to evaluate possible changes to improve the processes


• Conceptual design and layout of new processes, including estimates of both productivity and capacity, cost and schedule


• Demonstrates the ability to lead small to medium projects and applies project management skills


• Demonstrates excellent data analysis skills including using relational databases and statistics (SQL / Oracle preferred)


• Assists in material handling equipment design, procurement, and installation with oversight from senior members of the engineering team


• Implement and maintain engineering labor standards and Labor Management System (LMS)


• Represents the engineering team on cross functional project teams


• Communicates well with business partners, team members and external vendors


• Helps educate junior members of the engineering team and shares knowledge
