Job summary

Sysco Specialty Companies seeks a Process Improvement Lead to support the industrial engineering program across production, warehouse, and delivery operations in the US Specialty Businesses. You will develop, configure, optimize and document industrial processes from inception through startup and certification, using data to drive scalable improvements.

Responsibilities include coordinating Labor Management System functions, conducting time studies and simulations, and leading field education on

Qualifications

BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Industrial Engineering or Process Improvement in large scale production, logistics or distribution environment.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Lean concepts advantageous.
Experience with Time Study methodologies (MOST/MTM/MSD) and Labor Management Systems.

Responsibilities

Enable Operational Excellence by developing best practices for productivity, customer service, and safety; set benchmarks and measure progress.
Implement lean practices for Supply Chain and communicate initiatives for productivity improvement.
Create project tracking, set expectations, and report on progress and impact of lean processes.
Support Labor Management System functions including engineering, configuration, validation, and education to the field.
Perform process simulations, time studies, data collection & analysis, and risk assessment; produce final reports.
