Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to support the Effectors factories in Tucson, AZ, focusing on maximizing throughput and improving efficiency to deliver greater customer value. Qualifications

• Requires a STEM Bachelor's and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial/Systems/Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret security clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Model factory operations with process flows, value streams, pareto charts, diagrams, and CAD drawings to show production processes and KPIs.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to improve efficiency and meet cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
• Draft infrastructure improvement proposals and plan integration of new products and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address obsolescence and enhance factory performance.
• Support new production contracts and product integration efforts.
• Improve factory safety and ergonomics.
