Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Principal Industrial Engineer to support the Surveillance portfolio of factories in McKinney, TX to maximize throughput, improve efficiency, and deliver increasing value to the customer. Industrial Engineers are responsible for labor analyses, value stream mapping, line balancing, capacity planning, and factory simulations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, influence roadmaps and investments, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant industrial engineering experience.
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, capacity modeling, facility design, and process optimization.
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Model factory operations with process flows, value stream maps, and KPI diagrams.
Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Influence factory roadmaps and investment strategies; plan integration of new products and equipment.
Lead cross-functional teams to address obsolescence and improve performance.
Support new production contracts and product integration efforts.
Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics.
