Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our Quonset, RI team. The role spans both site-level factory layout ownership and cross-functional optimization of material flow across the facility, collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to keep complex undersea hardware built to spec.

You will analyze production lines, perform capacity planning, time studies, and DES, and lead initiatives from definition through execution, supporting capital equipment

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a rate manufacturing environment with complex assemblies.
• Experience using real operational data for decisions.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and hardware process understanding.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IE standards to Quonset production lines: capacity planning, labor standards, time studies, line layouts, and DES.
• Deploy as a shared resource across lines with Manufacturing leads.
• Own site-level factory layout and material flow from receiving to lineside.
• Define requirements for capital equipment and tooling; support vendor selection and qualification.
• Lead cross-functional projects for 3SI and drive site infrastructure improvements.
• Own operations health metrics and build reporting tools.
• Identify bottlenecks in layout, material flow, staffing, and tooling; drive resolutions.
