Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our growing team in Quonset, RI. You will optimize manufacturing operations, design workstation layouts, and lead site-wide projects to improve material flow and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in rate manufacturing, experience with CAD and Lean, and the ability to work cross-functionally across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to deliver data-driven improvements on a fast-scaling production floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a rate manufacturing environment with complex assemblies.
• Ability to use data from operations to inform decisions.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and drawings.
• Lean manufacturing principles knowledge and implementation experience.
• Experience with MES/ERP systems and production data.
• Ability to interpret vendor documents and hardware processes.
• Familiarity with material flow concepts (Kanban, MIN/MAX).

Responsibilities

• Deliver IE standards to Quonset’s production lines (capacity, labor standards, time studies).
• Provide shared-resource support across lines; scope and hand off work.
• Own site-level factory layout and material flow across receiving to shared services.
• Define requirements and justify capital equipment; support vendor selections.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve site infrastructure and processes.
• Develop and report operations health metrics and KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive resolution with multiple teams.
