Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quonset, RI is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations across the site, balancing line-level work with factory-wide layouts and material flow. You will deliver IE standards, lead cross-functional projects, and own KPIs, collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to keep high‑fidelity production running at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in rate manufacturing environments with complex assemblies.
• Experience using real data to drive decisions.
• Ability to read drawings and vendor schematics.
• Knowledge of material flow and pull systems.
• Experience with discrete event simulation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IE standards to Quonset's lines: capacity planning, labor standards, time studies, layouts, and DES.
• Deploy as a shared resource; partner with line leads to scope, deliver, and hand off work.
• Own site-level factory layout and material flow from receiving to lineside.
• Specify, justify, and deploy capital equipment; support vendor selection and production readiness.
• Lead cross-functional projects for site infrastructure and process improvement.
• Own operations health metrics and build dashboards for line/site health.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive resolution with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality.
