Job Description:

This position is for an Industrial Engineer Early Career Associate supporting one of Lockheed Martin’s vehicle, missile, or rocket programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Product Manager, Program Support Team, and the Industrial Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Apply traditional Industrial Engineering techniques, including:
• Man-loading
• Workflow analysis
• Learning curve analysis
• Estimating
• Capacity analysis
• Capital equipment justification
• Make vs. buy studies
• Standards development
• Equivalent units completed calculations

Location:

Based at Lockheed Martin’s Camden Operations facility in Camden, Arkansas, a 2000-acre site with over 2 million square feet of manufacturing space, producing rockets, missiles, canisters, and ground vehicles. The facility features a state-of-the-art machining center and employs over 1000 personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM-related field from an accredited college. An Industrial Engineering degree is preferred, but candidates from other engineering and STEM disciplines will be considered.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with time studies, man loading, capacity analysis, project management, process improvements, benchmarking, and simulation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Work Schedule:

Offers a 4×10-hour day work schedule, with three days off weekly. Lockheed Martin supports various alternative schedules for flexibility.
