Lockheed Martin Camden Arkansas is a major manufacturing facility spanning over 2000 acres and 2 million square feet. This site is responsible for building rockets, missiles, canisters, and ground vehicles, and also houses a state-of-the-art machining center. Currently employing over 1000 people, Camden Operations is a significant contributor to the company’s overall success.

Job Description: Industrial Engineer (Early Career)

This position offers an opportunity to work on one of Lockheed Martin’s vehicle, missile, or rocket programs, playing a crucial role in program support. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Program Support Team, and the Industrial Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Apply traditional Industrial Engineering techniques and disciplines: This includes areas like man-loading, workflow analysis, learning curves, cost estimation, capacity analysis, capital equipment justification, make vs. buy studies, standards development, and equivalent units completed calculations.
  2. Contribute to program success: You will be involved in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring program goals are met.
  3. Work in a collaborative environment: This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  1. Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering or a STEM-related field.
  2. Desired: Industrial Engineering degree is preferred, but candidates from other engineering and STEM disciplines are encouraged to apply.
  3. Experience: Experience with time studies, man loading, capacity analysis, project management, process improvements, benchmarking, and simulation is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
