Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in Scarborough, ME seeks an Industrial Engineer to design smarter operations across a multi-building distribution campus, combining engineering with strategic thinking to drive operational excellence.

You will partner with campus leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement productivity improvements using activity-based costing, benchmarking, and time-study analytics, influencing decisions and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• PM certification or equivalent credential.
• Experience driving productivity improvements in distribution, logistics or supply chains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CAD drawings for complex distribution campuses and layouts.
• Analyze workflows and material handling to identify improvements.
• Develop and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST.
• Continuously evaluate labor models to boost productivity and scalability.
• Serve as IE SME and partner for business case development and capital planning.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on engineering requirements and permitting.
• Work with Operations and Finance to optimize incentive programs and metrics.
• Build relationships with industry peers to stay current on best practices.
