Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to shape the future of our multi-building distribution campus by blending engineering expertise with strategic thinking to drive operational excellence.

In this role, you will partner with campus leadership and cross-functional teams to implement productivity improvements using activity-based costing, MOST labor standards, and time-study analytics, influencing key KPIs and capital planning decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is required.
• Project Management Certification is required.
• Proven experience driving productivity improvements within distribution, logistics, or related operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CAD drawings for complex, multi-building distribution campuses, translating requirements into facility layouts.
• Analyze workflows, material handling requirements, and space utilization to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST methodology while training operational teams.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance labor models to improve productivity and adjust to seasonal demands and process changes.
• Serve as the industrial engineering subject matter expert and strategic partner for stakeholders, supporting business case development and capital planning.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate engineering requirements and permitting activities.
• Partner with Operations and Finance to evaluate incentive programs, validate performance metrics, and ensure plans drive desired outcomes.
• Build relationships with industry associations and cross-functional partners to stay current on best practices.
