Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY, is seeking an Industrial/Capacity Planning professional to help plan and execute fab capacity and capital spending. You will collaborate with Industrial Engineering, Product Integration, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance to optimize factory output, drive down cycle times, and enable new product introductions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Industrial or related field and 3 years in semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing, with experience in capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in semiconductor manufacturing and high-volume production.
• Experience with Capacity Planning for production resources and factory analytics.
• Familiarity with JMP Data Analytics, Power BI, Oracle/SAP, and VBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fab Capacity and Capital spending.
• Support Manufacturing Operations & Advanced Module Engineering to optimize factory output.
• Lead Capacity & Capital discussions and drive spending to targets.
• Update capacity model for ramp plans and new product analyses.
• Provide analytics to improve factory output using advanced techniques.
