Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Senior Engineer in Malta, NY for Production Control & Planning to support new product introduction and manufacturing execution in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

You will analyze production data, develop reporting tools, and collaborate across teams to ensure successful launches and factory readiness, while leading continuous improvement initiatives and leveraging AI-driven analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited degree program.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in semiconductor industry.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).
• Travel - Up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production Control and Planning to support new product introduction and manufacturing execution initiatives.
• Analyze production data and develop reporting tools to improve delivery performance and operational decision making.
• Collaborate with Customer Engineering, Integration and Line Control teams to ensure successful product launches and factory readiness.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing excellence.
• Support AI & Data driven analytics to initiate key decision making to meet business needs leveraging Microsoft Suite, SQL and Python.
