Job summary

GlobalFoundries Malta, NY is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design systems that boost productivity in semiconductor manufacturing. You will develop layouts, workflows and capacity tools while ensuring safety compliance and process integrity.

You will analyze throughput, optimize equipment output, and establish metrics to drive efficiency. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in related semiconductor processes are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in Semiconductor Process.
• Experience with SWD, DIFF, IMP processes and ion implantation.
• Experience with JMP Data Analytics and Power BI for data visualization and modeling.
• Experience in Throughput Optimization, batch factor analysis, and productivity improvements.
• Familiar with Cycle Time Analysis to optimize flow.
• Ability to predict/process behavior over long-term horizons.
• Experience with Obsolescence and Spec Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and processes to increase productivity in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Develop equipment layouts, workflow, capacity tools and models.
• Ensure safety standards compliance.
• Develop throughput optimization for overall equipment output.
• Establish metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity.
