Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Richardson, TX is seeking an Experienced Industrial Engineer to plan wafer fabrication capacity, analyze models, and drive improvements to increase factory output. Qualifications

• 2 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related role.
• Experience evaluating worker productivity and flow to improve manpower and performance.
• Experience with capacity modelling and manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in C/C#, Python and UI/UX interfaces.
• Familiar with statistical methods, regression, and parametric modelling.
• Knowledge of JIT, scheduling systems, Lean manufacturing and waste elimination.
• Knowledge of optimization techniques and linear programming.

Responsibilities

• Plan wafer fabrication capacity and analyze capacity models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement mathematical logic and linear programming to simulate optimum capacity planning.
• Drive global standardization for capacity modelling across sites.
• Communicate strategic priorities across organizations; work with other projects as needed.
• Perform all activities safely and support EH&S requirements.
