Job summary

RiseMe is seeking an Industrial Engineer on a contract basis to optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, and material flow in a Tier 1 automotive environment. You will analyze workflows, lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IE/ME, 3+ years in industrial/manufacturing engineering, and experience with labor studies, capacity planning, and PFMEA, PFMEA, and APQP methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably within a Tier 1 supplier environment.
• Experience conducting labor studies, capacity analysis, facility layout planning, and process optimization initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing process improvement and cost-reduction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, layouts, and material flow systems to maximize plant utilization.
• Analyze workflow and plant layouts to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives focused on productivity and cost reduction.
• Support capacity planning to meet customer demand and production requirements.
• Collaborate with Production and EH&S teams on safety initiatives and training.
• Develop metrics to monitor plant performance and report findings.
• Assist with capital investment planning to meet future production needs.
• Ensure designs comply with safety regulations and customer requirements.
