Job summary
The Boeing Company in the St. Louis region seeks an Associate or Experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize production systems and drive end-to-end supply chain integration.
You will work with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and improve production processes, layouts, and workflows for cost-effective manufacturing outcomes. Responsibilities include analytics, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with manufacturing and procurement to stabilize and enhance performance on the shop
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating product design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
- Conduct workflow design and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analyses to leaders.
- Research, design, and implement processes to improve schedule performance and reduce costs.
- Prepare operations plans, including budgeting, capacity analysis, and change management.
- Support execution planning through project management and shop load practices.
