Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace seeks an Industrial Engineer in Orange City, IA to forecast plant capacities, analyze production methods, and implement cost-effective solutions. You will review schedules, specs, and processes to identify bottlenecks and drive efficiency improvements on high-precision aerospace manufacturing lines.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, have Lean certification, and 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in manufacturing processes including flow, layout, and production equipment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to conduct capacity and staffing analysis.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication; able to prepare and deliver presentations.
• Read and comprehend drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
• Forecast and analyze plant capacities.
• Create and implement industrialization plans for new products with maximum efficiency.
• Prepare, plan, and execute capital expenditure projects.
• Support quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects.
