Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace Corporation in Orange City, IA is seeking an Industrial Engineer to forecast plant capacities, analyze production processes, and implement efficiency improvements across manufacturing operations.

You will develop industrialization plans for new products, plan capital expenditures, support quality control, and lead continuous improvement projects with Lean methods while reading drawings and specifications. Strong communication with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in manufacturing processes including flow, layout, and equipment.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Root Cause & Corrective Action techniques.
• Ability to conduct capacity and staffing analysis.
• Verbal and written communication skills; able to prepare and deliver presentations.
• Read and comprehend drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
• Forecast and analyze plant capacities.
• Create and implement industrialization plans for new products with maximum efficiency.
• Prepare, plan, and execute capital expenditure projects.
• Support quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects.
