Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in Orange City, IA. The role leads a team that develops and improves composite part fabrication processes, methods, and tooling, including design of tools and shop floor support.

You will implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methods, review drawings and specs, and drive process qualification and continuous improvement across manufacturing. The position is full-time with competitive benefits and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of GD&T.
• Experience in Work Instruction creation.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication; able to prepare technical documents for customers.
• Implementation of continuous improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen methods.
• Reviewing drawings, models, engineering specifications to understand manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor other engineers.
• Develop tools, processes, machines and equipment to integrate facilities and systems for producing quality product with optimal capital expenditure.
• Apply and establish statistical methods to control processes and maximize productivity.
• Create Work Instructions/BOMs.
