Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace - Orange City Operations is seeking an Industrial Engineer to forecast and analyze plant capacities and develop solutions for manufacturing improvements at the Orange City, IA facility.

The role focuses on optimizing production processes, implementing industrialization plans for new products, and driving cost reductions through Lean techniques and capital projects. Strong drawing reading and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in manufacturing processes including flow, layout, and production equipment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Read and comprehend drawings and specifications.
• Five to seven years of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
• Forecast and analyze plant capacities.
• Create and implement industrialization plans for new products with maximum efficiency.
• Prepare, plan, and execute capital expenditure projects.
• Support quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects.
