Job summary

AMAX, a global leader in GPU-accelerated IT infrastructure, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Fremont, CA. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, analyze workflows, and implement equipment and automation to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires strong engineering credentials and the ability to work under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment. You will design layouts, estimate standard processing times, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in an electronic devices manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to work effectively and accurately under tight time constraints.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Logical and critical thinking to weigh options for efficient production.
• High motivation to help customers and the company succeed.
• Server and/or Rack products experience preferred.
• NPI and sustaining production environment experience preferred.

• Analyze manufacturing process and drive for continueus improvement.
• Evaluate and implement equipment/tools/fixtures/automations to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Design and improve production layout.
• Estimate and improve standard manufacturing processing time for production planning and cost estimation.
• Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

• BS, MS, or equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in an electronic devices manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced dynamic environment; communicating clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
• An ability to think logically and critically that helps to weigh various available options and take the best decision in favor of efficient production.
• High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customers and our company succeed.
• Server and/or Rack products experience preferred.
