Job summary

Tag Systems USA in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer to identify bottlenecks, analyze production data, and drive measurable improvements across our manufacturing operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 5-8+ years of industrial, manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with time studies, capacity analysis, workflow optimization, process mapping, and labor utilization
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis
• Experience with facility layouts, production flow, and equipment placement

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify throughput improvements, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency across the facility

What are the hours?

This is a full-time engineering position located in Eatontown, NJ. Shift schedules may vary but will be scheduled within normal business hours, providing consistency while supporting operational needs.

What does your day as an industrial engineer entail?

Picture yourself starting your day by analyzing production data, identifying opportunities to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency across the facility. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams, conduct labor and capacity studies, evaluate workflow patterns, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other methodologies. You'll develop innovative solutions that reduce waste, improve equipment utilization, optimize facility layouts, and support automation opportunities, all while creating standardized processes and performance measurements that drive long-term success. From supporting new product launches and customer implementations to leading cross-functional improvement projects and developing ROI analyses for capital investments, you'll serve as a key contributor to operational excellence while helping shape the future performance of our manufacturing operation.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• 5-8+ years of industrial, manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing process improvement projects
• Strong experience with time studies, capacity analysis, workflow optimization, process mapping, and labor utilization
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis
• Experience with facility layouts, production flow, and equipment placement
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Experience developing cost-benefit and ROI analyses using Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred candidates will have experience with ERP/MRP systems, AutoCAD or similar layout software, and Power BI or other analytics platforms.
