Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a skilled Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to design, develop, and optimize production processes. The role focuses on improving productivity, efficiency, and quality while solving complex manufacturing challenges.

The ideal candidate will apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Production, and maintain robust process documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• `Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field.`
• `Proven experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering or technician role.`
• `Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality systems.`
• `Proficiency in CAD software and statistical analysis tools.`
• `Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.`
• `Analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.`
• `Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team oriented.`

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at reducing production costs, improving lead times, and enhancing product quality.

• Provide general engineering support to production, quality and maintenance operations to ensure plant productivity objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Utilize lean manufacturing tools to streamline operations and eliminate waste; provide training and support to production on new processes and equipment.
