Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an experienced maintenance technician in Pennsylvania to ensure continuous facility and equipment operation. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery, read schematics, and maintain safety records.

Responsibilities include servicing furnaces, conveyors, pumps, and cranes, plus assembling components and debugging control systems. Shift work and overtime may be required, with on-the-job training provided for internal candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree or Journeyman's card preferred; internal candidates may receive training.
• 3–5 years of repair/maintenance experience on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.
• Operates and maintains furnaces, conveyors, pumps, and cranes.
• Assembles pumps, gearboxes and other components.
• Installs manufacturing machinery and fabricates components as needed.
• Reads manuals, drawings and schematics for equipment.
• Maintains compliance logs and safety records.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime as required.
