Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Indiana is seeking an Electrical Technician to support plant electrical applications. The role performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

You will assemble, test, and troubleshoot wiring and components, read schematics, calibrate equipment, and work with a team to implement improvements. Weekend on-call coverage and forklift/JLG operation are part of duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electrical engineering technology preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician.
• Experience operating forklifts (electric and gas), scissor lifts and JLG aerial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, evaluate, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and apparatuses.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical circuit blueprints and diagrams.
• Perform calibrations on electrical equipment.
• Tune drives on various equipment for optimal performance.
• Weekend on-call coverage required.
