Precision Castparts Corp. in Huntington, WV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance across plant equipment. You will read blueprints, operate power tools and welding equipment, and ensure safety standards while collaborating with production teams.

The role requires flexibility for shifts, lifting up to 35 lbs, and the ability to work nights or overtime. You will also document maintenance activities and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to wear PPE as required.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work any shift, including nights, holidays, and overtime.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work instructions.

Responsabilités

• Follow all facility safety programs and policies.
• Rotate between areas within facility.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches; make minor sketches as needed.
• Install, repair, dismantle, and service electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and production equipment.
• Fabricate and install metal stock to required size and shape; perform welding/brazing as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and use measuring tools.
• Keep work area clean and well-maintained; communicate safety concerns.
