Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Richmond, VA (Plant 2) to support highly automated operations. The role covers electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance with a focus on preventative maintenance and rapid repair for production lines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and a trade/technical certification. Robotics and controls/networking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Trade/Technical School certification.
• 3+ years Mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• 3+ years Electrical troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Assists other Technicians in repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot & repair electrical/electronic systems and control components.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with PLCs and I/O devices.
