Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Richmond, VA plant on a full-time onsite basis. In this multi-craft role, you will support automated production lines by troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems and collaborating with Production Leaders to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLCs, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and read electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Trade/Technical School certification.
• 3+ years Mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• 3+ years electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with robotics is preferred.
• Controls and networking troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists other Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot & repair electrical, electronic systems and PLCs.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical components including seals and bearings.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic problems and coordinate with operators.
