Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Dover, DE is seeking a maintenance technician to repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on warehousing and processing equipment. You will read electrical blueprints, adjust PLC programs, and ensure safety and documentation are up to date.

Shift options include 2nd (2:00pm – 10:30pm) and 3rd (10:00pm – 6:30am) with OT as needed. Strong mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must read and perform basic mathematical functions.
• Basic computer skills including keyboarding are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of maintenance principles to repair electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation issues.
• Ability to react to machinery breakdowns positively and efficiently.
• Willing to work across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment in manufacturing and warehousing areas.
• Read electrical blueprints and perform programming changes as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and cleaning.
• Requisition materials and prepare reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area and adhere to safety rules.
