Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Newberry, SC is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on our food processing equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced facility.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Shift work includes second and third shifts with overtime potential and an incentive bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2nd shift availability and willingness to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance in a food processing setting is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant refrigeration and steam systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair processing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute installation, alteration, and modification of equipment as needed.
