Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Winchester VA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to provide technical support in manufacturing liquid drinks. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with all teams to meet production goals within budget.

This full-time role requires hands-on problem solving and reading CAD drawings. The position operates on a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am), with a 3-2-2 schedule and opportunities for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Works with all departments to meet or surpass the plant's safety goals.
• Follows all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participates in DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings and contributes input.
• Prioritizes and coordinates maintenance work for maximum equipment uptime.
• Performs troubleshooting to minimize downtime and fixes equipment repairs.
• Reads and understands blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Operates tools and equipment to install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Operates welders and torches for repairs.
• Uses precision tools (micrometers, calipers, verniers) and machine shop equipment.
• Documents all work and any issues, using SAP.
