Job summary

Washington Penn is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to execute the facility's equipment maintenance, including extruder machinery, to improve asset value, reliability, and reduce operating costs. The role ensures production uptime and safe operation of all equipment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, data logging, and coordinating with engineering for capital projects; a strong emphasis on electrical work per NEC, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow blueprints.
• Must be able to use voltmeter and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Must be able to use a clamp meter and megger.
• Must be able to work on 480V, 120V, and 24V controls and 0-10V/4-20mA instrumentation.
• 2+ years of electrical maintenance in heavy manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on extruder equipment and related systems.
• Maintain/record data in maintenance management system.
• Support safety initiatives and ensure EHS compliance.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform circuit inspections.
• Coordinate with vendors/engineers for capital projects and installations.
