Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical training preferred.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license as required by local regulations.
• 3+ years in industrial or maintenance electrical work.
• Certifications in NFPA 70E, OSHA safety, or PLC programming are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including motors and control panels.
• Diagnose electrical issues using test instruments and diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Configure PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems per specs.
• Ensure NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA safety compliance and CMMS recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with maintenance/engineering for reliability improvements.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
