Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to maintain and repair plant equipment at our St. Joseph, IL site. The position requires electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control device expertise for continuous production uptime.

You will review safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with leaders to implement improvements. Strong problem‑solving and teamwork are essential, with potential overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with field experience
• Ability to interpret the NEC and electrical codes
• Willing to drive company vehicle and operate in varied environments

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and inspections
• Review and assist program leaders with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory procedures including OSHA, PSM, and company policies
• Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes
