Job summary

Vylor, operating at Corteva facilities in St. Joseph, Illinois, seeks a Journeyman Electrician to maintain and repair process equipment and support safety programs in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Ideal candidates will have NEC knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and strong computer skills. Expect overtime, weekend shifts during peak production, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician with NEC knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to climb, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs., outdoors/indoors in varying conditions.
• Good written and verbal communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical equipment for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and inspections.
• Support electrical safety program with leaders/teams; ensure compliance.
• Adhere to safety, OSHA, PSM, and company procedures.
• Provide recommendations for safety and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
