Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for on-site work at our Corteva location in St. Joseph, Illinois. You will operate and maintain plant electrical systems, perform repairs, and support safety and environmental compliance.

Ideal candidates have NEC knowledge, the ability to work in rotating shifts including weekends, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The role includes overtime expectations and keeping detailed equipment records.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification/experience required.
• Ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learn other applications.
• Willing to climb, stand, sit for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required.
• Commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control equipment for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections.
• Support electrical safety program adherence and compliance.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures including OSHA and PSM.
• Recommend improvements to electrical programs and add new devices where appropriate.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
