Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an industrial electrician in UMATILLA, OR. The role involves installing and repairing electrical systems on industrial machinery, following safety rules, and working with PLCs and drives to keep production running.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, preventive maintenance, and equipment fabrication or modification to meet production needs. Must read schematics and be willing to be on call in a loud, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding knowledge required; ability to read schematics in related areas.
• Be willing to learn new tasks and be on call.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs electrical systems on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts and man-lift; follow safety rules and procedures.
• Connects power supply wires, cables, and wires between machines and equipment.
• Repairs or replaces faulty PLCs, DC and AC drives; replaces faulty components.
• Use voltage testing equipment; test devices for proper operation.
• Set up drill presses, hydraulic presses, and saws; fabricate/modify equipment as needed.
