Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a skilled electrician to install and repair electrical systems on industrial machinery. The role requires reading schematics, working with PLCs and drives, and performing preventive maintenance on extrusion equipment.

You will operate forklifts and man-lifts as needed and collaborate in a self-managed team while on-call for emergencies. Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience, and be willing to learn new tasks and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 years related experience.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and welding preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret technical documents.
• Willingness to be on call and learn new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems on industrial machinery.
• Safely operate forklifts and man-lift as required.
• Repair PLCs and DC/AC drives; replace faulty components.
• Fabricate or modify equipment to meet production needs.
• Perform electrical preventative maintenance on extrusion equipment.
• Read schematics and use testing equipment to diagnose issues.
• Work in a self-managed team and participate in required training.
