Job summary

CORN, LP in Goldfield, IA seeks an experienced full-time Industrial Maintenance Electrician to keep critical equipment running. You will work on advanced industrial systems, support renewable energy production, and join a team that values skilled professionals.

This on-site role includes an on-call rotation and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and proactive maintenance of electrical systems, motors, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentation, plus CMMS

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
3+ years of industrial maintenance electrical experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills involving motors, controls, VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentation.
NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in Workplace Training.
Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights.
Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, and dusty industrial environments.
Ability to wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot urgent issues and perform proactive maintenance tasks.
Maintain electrical systems and equipment up to 480V, including motors, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentation.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals; calibrate instrumentation as needed.
Document work in a CMMS and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
