Georgia Pacific is seeking an Electrical Journeyman at our Toledo, OR facility. The role involves installing and troubleshooting electrical equipment to support quality and production goals, with 8- or 12-hour shifts including holidays and overtime. Qualifications

• Must have Oregon general (J) or Manufacturing Plant (PJ) license; reciprocity includes AR, ID, ME, MT, UT, WA, WY
• 2+ years electrical experience in industrial or military environments
• Willingness to work 8/12 hour shifts, holidays, weekends, overtime and on-call hours

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain facility electrical distribution and manufacturing process equipment
• Monitor equipment conditions and provide feedback on failure risks
• Troubleshoot AC/DC drives
• Modify existing conduit and wiring
• Maintain safety rules and wear safety equipment
• Work at heights and in confined spaces
• Work 8 or 12 hour shifts, holidays, weekends, overtime and on-call hours as needed
