Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an Electrician for the Maintenance department at the Waco, TX plant. You will perform electrical maintenance, troubleshoot complex drive systems, and work with contractors to repair production equipment.

The role requires five years of electrical experience in manufacturing, reads blueprints, and ensures safety compliance with NEC and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of shop mathematics and OHM's law.
• Experience with electrical test equipment (ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters).
• Identify components in manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with NEC and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment.
• Interface with subcontractors for repairs.
• Order repair parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintain safe work environment and compliance with SP/RCRA procedures.
• Develop electrical drawings and update plant equipment diagrams.
