Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Waco, TX, is seeking an Electrical Technician (2nd or 3rd shift) to perform electrical maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment.

The role requires reading blueprints, using test equipment, and collaborating with subcontractors to keep operations safe and efficient. You will design, install, troubleshoot and update electrical systems, maintain AutoCAD drawings, and ensure compliance with National Electrical Code and plant procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturer maintenance manuals and parts catalogs.
• Authorized to work in the United States; ITAR restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use electrical test equipment (ammeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter).
• Install, maintain and repair AC/DC electrical components and motor drives.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with variable frequency drives and PLCs.
• Maintain plant electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with codes and procedures.
