Job summary

ITW Automotive is seeking a skilled electrician/mechanic for maintenance and installation on presses and production equipment. Primary duties include electrical and mechanical repairs, PLC-based control upgrades, and coordinating projects with internal and external teams.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in industrial machine controls, NEC knowledge, and the ability to operate lifting equipment. First shift with potential future shift changes; safety and housekeeping are expected as core

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience troubleshooting industrial machine controls.
• Experience with press mechanics and auxiliary equipment.
• Strong knowledge of NEC code and electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical repairs on presses and other production equipment.
• Repair and replace electrical components or safety devices on all production equipment.
• Troubleshoot system failures on all assigned equipment.
• Upgrade electrical controls on existing equipment using PLCs and sensors.
• Assume the role of Project Manager in installation/modification of production equipment.
• Operate boom lift and scissor lift.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
• Establish and maintain a critical parts inventory.
