Job summary
Lakeside Book Company in Willard, OH seeks an Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex production machinery and building systems. You will read schematics, diagnose faults, and work with PLCs to minimize downtime, while adhering to rigorous safety standards.
The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance and a Journeyman card or Electrical Technology degree. Shift work is required.
Qualifications
- Three+ years of electrical maintenance in manufacturing/industrial settings.
- Ability to read schematics, use multi-meters, diagnose panels.
- PLC experience (Studio 5000 / RSLogix) preferred for senior wage tiers.
- Journeyman card or Associate Degree in Electrical Technology valued; equivalent history accepted.
- Willingness to work 3-shift, 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex production machinery and building systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults using blueprints, schematics, and diagnostics software.
- Navigate PLC systems (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell) to minimize downtime.
- Maintain, test, and calibrate three-phase motors, AC/DC drives, sensors, and safety circuits.
- Follow LOTO and NFPA 70E safety guidelines.
