Job summary

Milford Mining Company is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across our mining and mineral processing operations. You will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure safe, reliable plant performance from crushing to SX/EW operations.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, coordinating with PLC/DCS systems, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of industrial electrical experience in mining, processing, or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including motors, starters, MCCs, and industrial controls.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Working knowledge of safe electrical practices and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and control systems in the processing plant and facilities.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in plant equipment.
Interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals to support installation and repair.
Work with PLCs, VFDs, and DCS to support process control and automation.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve system performance.
Ensure safety policies and MSHA regulations are followed; maintain records and work orders.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and capital projects.
Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
