Job summary

Martin Marietta is looking for an Electrician to join our Maintenance team. You will maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot process control instrumentation to optimize mining operations, primarily on surface facilities.

Expect collaboration with engineering and ongoing upgrades to enhance safety and efficiency. The role requires a 2-year electrical degree or equivalent experience, and a licensed Electrician with a Journeyman’s card is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electrical or comparable experience.
• Certified/licensed Electrician.
• Journeyman's card preferred but not required.
• Experience with PLCs preferred but not required.
• Experience in aggregate or similar industry for at least 1 year.
• Strong attention to detail and safety acumen.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all in-house electrical repairs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls and drives.
• Research potential automation upgrades to improve safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet deadlines and complete capital projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
