Milford Mining Company is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across our mining and mineral processing operations. You will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure safe, reliable plant performance from crushing to SX/EW operations.
Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, coordinating with PLC/DCS systems, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting activities.

The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment supporting Milford Mining Company’s mining and mineral processing operations. This role works closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance across crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, solvent extraction, and electrowinning circuits.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
This position operates in an active mining and mineral processing environment. The employee will be exposed to industrial conditions including moving mechanical equipment, high voltage systems, dust, noise, vibration, and hazardous chemicals associated with mineral processing operations. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and precipitation. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, and work at heights. Frequent use of hands for tools and equipment is required. The role involves bending, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces. The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision (critical for electrical work), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time position operating on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, consisting of 12-hour shifts. Employees will rotate monthly between day and night shifts. Overtime and call-outs may be required based on operational needs.
Travel is minimal and primarily local. Occasional travel may be required for training or development opportunities.
