Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. seeks a Process Electrician to support the process plant, assay and laboratory operations within a mining environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical systems, and ensure equipment availability during 4 ten-hour shifts. Responsibilities include reading schematics, testing circuits with voltmeters and ammeters, maintaining PLCs and HV equipment, complying with safety policies, and contributing to continuous improvement of maintenance practices with

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years electrical experience in a process mining environment.
Able to read electrical prints and schematics.
Maintain tool inventory and personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs work area housekeeping duties.
Test defective equipment using voltmeters/ammeters and related apparatus.
Lead by example in safety policies and practices.
Assist in improving maintenance strategy to maximize equipment availability.
Perform work area inspections and risk assessments.
Interpret information from schematics, manuals, and procedures.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in process plant and related areas.
Maintain PLC, motor control circuits, and HV cable repairs.
Ensure compliance with contamination control policies and environmental stewardship.
