Job summary

Turner Industries in Longview, TX is seeking an Industrial Electrician to plan, install and repair wiring, fixtures and control equipment on industrial facilities. Non-exempt, reports to the Foreman, with a typical duration of 3 months or longer.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–4 years of experience, NCCER certification for A-class Electricians, and the ability to pass drug tests and safety reviews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NCCER certification for A-class Electricians is required.
• 1–4 years of experience in the skill set preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and installs new or modified electrical wiring and control equipment.
• Pulls wiring through conduit and connects power cables to equipment.
• Tests continuity and safety of electrical components and systems.
• Performs repairs and maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Complies with site safety policies and drug/alcohol programs.
